Microsurgery is a tool used by multiple plastic surgeons to do certain procedures which include the transfer of tissue from one part of the body to the other for free tissue transfer, graft of several parts replantation and composite tissue transplantation. Microsurgical procedures pose a wide range of highly individualized operations. Microsurgical reconstruction is typically reserved for the complex reconstructive surgery possible risks and Complications where other options such as primary closure, skin grafting, local or regional flap transfer which are inadequate.
