Craniofacial Surgery is at the heart of modern plastic surgery. Different surgical methods/types are used to correct congenital and acquired abnormalities of the head, skull, face, neck, jaws, and associated structures. Craniofacial surgery is not tissue-specific, even though craniofacial treatment is often associated with the manipulation of bone, craniofacial surgeons deal with bone, skin, nerve, muscle, teeth, and other related anatomy. This session will cover all the aspects of craniofacial Surgery that include treatments for computer-aided aided fracture detection

  • Craniofacial anatomy
  • Genetic evolution of craniofacial disorders
  • The lower and mid face
  • Craniofacial imaging
  • Anomalies and related neurosurgical issues
  • Endoscopic cranioplasty
  • Facial reanimation
  • Congenital anomalies
  • Osteogenesis
  • Anesthesiology

The condition of Craniosynostosis is in which the fibrous joints between the skull bones fuse too early. It occurs usually before or at birth and it can cause an abnormal head shape, or in some cases restrict the growth of the brain, which increases the pressure inside the skull. craniosynostosis Surgery is designed to correct the abnormal head shape and allow the growing brain room to expand usually. In Craniosynostosis Surgery, many types of surgery are used to treat craniosynostosis, including strip craniectomy, spring-assisted craniectomy, and cranial vault remodeling. The surgery is performed by a specialist team of a plastic surgeon and a neurosurgeon or a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The Craniosynostosis Surgery conference session will be discussed all the conditions of Craniosynostosis Surgery are:

  • Endoscopic skull base surgery
  • Faciocraniosynostosis
  • Craniofacial microsomia
  • Complications of skull base therapy
  • Diagnosis and treatment

Skull base surgery is done to remove tumors growths, and abnormalities on the underside of the brain, the skull base, or the top few vertebrae of the spinal column. There are some types of skull base surgery, growths, diagnosis, treatment, and conditions that managing after skull base surgery may be treated by skull base surgery and other cases. In the Craniofacial Surgery conference open sessions are to be discussed in these:

  • Endoscopic Craniosynostosis Surgery
  • Basic research in the skull base area
  • Sagittal suture craniosynostosis
  • Advancement in the treatment of craniosynostosis
  • Craniofacial microsomia
  • Syndromic and non-syndromic craniosynostosis

In craniofacial Surgery, especially Craniofacial Congenital Syndromes the various craniofacial abnormalities result from maldevelopment in face and bone structures. Each of the specific congenital anomalies discussed here typically can be associated with many different genetic syndromes these are some of the topics to be discussed in this session:

  • Facial Palsy
  • ACPS Disorders
  • Congenital Ear Malformations
  • Eye Anomalies
  • Pierre Robin Sequence
  • Hereditary autoinflammatory diseases
  • Burn-McKeown syndrome
  • Congenital disease

Craniofacial Surgery has developed and advanced the treatment for the patients affected by it. The recent updates of the treatment are done with the grafting of the bones for the patients. In these Session discussions, the Advances of Craniofacial Surgery: surgeons, doctors, and related professionals can share their experiences and bring up ideas to develop treatments.

Pediatric craniofacial surgery is especially done for Infants and children affected by disorders or abnormal growth of facial and bone structures. In this session significant discussions of the children's craniofacial surgery methods, treatments, diagnosis, and non-surgical methods and also included in the craniofacial conference:

  • Pediatric cranial reconstruction
  • The Most Advanced Treatments
  • Pediatric considerations in craniofacial trauma
  • Complications in pediatric craniofacial surgery

Cleft Lip and Plate surgery are mostly done for children in the early stage. when the facial structures of the unborn baby don't close completely developing the result in a Cleft lip and cleft palate. A cleft is usually treated with Cleft Lip surgery. Other treatments, such as speech therapy and dental care, may also be needed the surgical procedures required for each patient with cleft lip and palate will vary depending on the type and severity of the deformity. Based on each patient’s overall medical needs timing and treatment will be adjusted, but treatment generally includes a combination of the procedures that will be discussed and shared in this Craniofacial Surgery Conference. The session majorly covers cleft lip and palate surgery for children and some of the topics included are to be discussed in this Craniofacial surgery Conference.

  • Types of clefts
  • Nasoalveolar molding
  • Orofacial cleft
  • Midfacial changes
  • Orthognathic surgery
  • Cleft repair with rhinoplasty
  • Advancement in the surgical technique
  • Velopharyngeal insufficiency

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is one type of plastic surgery that is performed on abnormal structures of the body that may be caused by trauma, infection, developmental abnormalities, congenital defects, disease, and/or tumors. Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is typically performed to improve function but may also be performed to approximate a normal appearance. Plastic and Reconstructive surgery is all about restoring functionality and appearance to the human body subsequent to the illness or accident and aesthetic and it is often called cosmetic plastic surgery. In these sessions, advanced treatments, types of surgery in plastic and reconstructive of the patient’s body, and complications are to be discussed and some of the topics are also included in this Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Sessions.

The specialty of dental practice which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunct treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects encompassing both functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region known for Oral and maxillofacial surgery. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of disorders affecting the facial complex and skeleton, including the jaws and oral cavity. Microsurgery is a tool used by multiple plastic surgeons to do specific procedures, including transferring from one part of the body to the other for free tissue transfer, a graft of several parts replantation, and composite tissue transplantation. Microsurgical procedures pose a wide range of highly individualized operations. Microsurgical reconstruction is typically reserved for complex reconstructive surgery with possible risks and Complications where other options such as primary closure, skin grafting, and local or regional flap transfer are inadequate. In these Microsurgery sessions, some more topics are to be shared and discussed at the Craniofacial Surgery Conference.
