Cleft Lip and Plate surgery are mostly done for children in the early stage. when the facial structures of the unborn baby don't close completely developing the result in a Cleft lip and cleft palate. A cleft is usually treated with Cleft Lip surgery. Other treatments, such as speech therapy and dental care, may also be needed the surgical procedures required for each patient with cleft lip and palate will vary depending on the type and severity of the deformity.
